Since its creation, the impact of RIPAO has been steadily increasing. We can name a few:
- The training of 257 public speaking instructors in the ACP (African, Caribbean and Pacific) region
- The creation of about forty national public speaking clubs or societie
- The training of around 500 debaters, including university professors and communication and marketing professionals. Many of these debaters regularly participate in eloquence competitions and international championships such as the World Public Speaking Championship of the Francophone Debate Federation (FDF) or the one organized by the Saint-Joseph University of Beirut: the International Francophone Debating Championship.
- In 2016, a RIPAO-led project, Africa Gawlo was selected by Ashoka as one of the 100 most innovative projects in the world in the social entrepreneurship sector.
By 2021, INPAS plans to double the number of instructors, triple the number of debaters and quadruple the number of registered public speaking clubs or societies.
